TYPOGRAPHIC DECAY

An ongoing project since 1996 on typography in the enviroment.

"Subjected to the rigours of an outside existence, typography takes on a new dimension. Over time natural erosion and decay transform its physical state, abstracting its elemental qualities, revealing a new image, creating a new communication.

Recording a moment in time. Capturing a decaying letter form. Exploring the intricate surface texture, pattern and colour. Celebrating the beauty of decaying typography."
